Library Board Member Opening

At this time we have an opening on the library board.  If you have a love of libraries and live in Waushara County, please consider putting your name in for consideration.  Just leave your name and number with one of the librarians.  The Library board meets once a month.  Members create and review policy, they help create the budget and make other spending decisions, they hire the director, they act as a library and literacy advocate, and they help direct the future of the library by voicing the community's needs.  It's a great way to have a positive impact.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting

Please plan to attend the Friends of the Wautoma Library Annual Meeting on Thursday September 22 at 11:30.  A light luncheon will be served.  Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to: presentation of the Library Leadership Award, election of officers, library wish list, director's report, and fundraising. In this meeting many decisions are made and much discussion takes place.  New members are always welcome.
