Library Board Opening

At this time we have an opening on the library board.  If you live in the city and have a love of libraries, please consider putting your name in for consideration.  Just leave your name and number with one of the librarians.  The Library board meets once a month.  Members create and review policy, they help create the budget and make other spending decisions, they hire the director, they act as a library and literacy advocate, and they help direct the future of the library by voicing the community's needs.  It's a great way to have a positive impact.  Please know that living inside the city limits is a very important criteria that must be met for this position.
