Family Storytime w/Miss Sue, 1st Thursdays 6pm

ImageWith songs, stories, crafts, and new friends Storytime is a wonderful way to spend the evening with your children.  Especially nice if you can't make the morning stortime on Wednesdays at 10:30.  Please join us every first Thursday for Storytime with Miss Sue.  Miss Sue is a retired teacher and she is full of energy and enthusiasm!  She loves to read and would love to give that gift of life long reading enjoyment to children of all ages.  Storytime is open to the whole family but geared towards preschoolers and early elementary.  Next Family Storytime is Feb. 5th at 6pm.

Seed Saving & Winter Sowing Class Sat. Jan. 31st 1pm

On Saturday, January 31st the Waushara Master Gardner’s will be hosting a class on seed starting and winter sowing.   Kathy Studebaker will be leading the class kicking off the Wautoma Library’s Seed Lending Program.  There will be heirloom seeds available for “check-out” and the lending program will continue until early June.   Valuable information on how to successfully start seeds indoors, how to winter sow hardy annuals and perennials, and the basics of seed saving will be presented.  Please call the library or stop in to sign up for this free workshop.
